Limefitt Park is perfect for families... Our children thought staying in a caravan was a heavenly adventure! The site is in such a picturesque setting, the play area is great for children and the Hay Barn serves lovely food.... what more could you want?

Very peaceful location and attractive park. Surrounding roads don't have pavements so you need to drive everywhere though.

Park location and facilities are ideal for exploring the Lakes and a quiet break! Perfect for young families. It is our first time in a holiday park/caravan and we loved it. Will definitely be back!

Brillant location. Lots to do regarding walks and play park for the children. Great food and service at the Haybarn. Beautiful scenery and caravan very comfortable, especially the central heating and seating outside. A very immaculate site overall.

Standard of Park and accommodation was exceptionally high. A beautiful, clean well equipped place to stay. All the staff are extremely helpful. Thank you to all at Limefitt Park, we highly recommend this Park to all.

What a fantastic location, the scenery was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Haybarn Inn was a very child friendly pub with great food and beers. A central location to explore the beautiful Lake District. Definitely recommend the park.

We enjoyed the peaceful location and the fact it was a fairly small park. The caravans are spaced out in a way that you feel you have a little privacy. I have never been to a park that was so well cared for and so clean. The Haybarn pub on the site was welcoming, with lovely deep sofas to relax in after an excellent meal. There was a nice outside area where you could enjoy the beautiful views. We did a couple of the walks from the park although I would recommend taking a walking stick as some of the paths are very stony. A thoroughly enjoyable break I wish we could have stayed longer as the weather wasn't brilliant and we had a power cut on the morning we were leaving which meant we went back earlier than we had intended. Well worth a visit.

We visited the Lakes in December as we love to see, experience, and get the best out of each season and what each has to offer. Being so close to Christmas and with all the snow around, turned the Lakes into a truly magical place and will be something the adults (big kids), and the three children in our party will always remember. Limefitt Park is very well run, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is somewhere we want to visit again. The staff at the park couldn't have been more helpful, especially when our water pipes froze up. The facilities at Limefitt are really good, including the Public House - the food was excellent, even though we came out of season and the menu was slightly limited. All in all, we didn't want to go home and had a bad case of the blues as we drove off back down the Kirkstone pass. We will be back!!!

An excellent base for a number of good fell walks. You can access several straight from the caravan park so can have days out without even needing the car.

Absolutely brillan, location, accommodation - everything! Peaceful and tranquil and a wonderful river for children to fish, paddle and swim in. Brilliant walks and a very quiet location with everything you could wish for and wonderful views.
